Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)

WHAT IS

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs)

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are Multipotent stem cells found in bone marrow collected by Apheresis technology from peripheral blood. MSCs are also found in the umbilical cord tissue of newborn babies. MSCs can be differentiated into many types of cells such as muscle cells (myocytes), bone cells (osteoblasts), cartilage (chondrocytes), and fat cells (adipocytes). Application of MSCs in Regenerative Medicine is growing at a rapid pace globally.  Currently, MSCs is the subject of over 300 clinical trials with the potential to treat conditions such as Heart Disease, Alzheimer’s, Arthritis, Parkinson's, Diabetes, Skin Burns and injuries to bones and cartilage.
